Instagram is a fantastic social media platform – especially or small business owners. However, it does have it’s limitations. One of the most irritating limitations is that you can only include one website link in your bio. Ugh. As a small business owners, links are like potato chips. It’s impossible to just have one. For that reason, most business owners use third party websites like Lnk.Bio, Smart.Bio, and Linktree. But wouldn’t is be great to have a custom Instagram link page on your own website?
These sites are great for simple, free link options. But their free options are limited when it comes to design. Another downside? You don’t get to use your custom website domain – which takes away from the professional brand that you’ve worked hard to create.
So what’s the solution? Creating a custom Instagram link page on your WordPress website. In this post, I’m going to show you how to easily create a custom page that will allow you to feature as many links as your heart desires. This page will use your business domain name, and you’ll have complete control over the design. The best part? It’s a completely free add-on.
To complete this, you’re going to need two things: a WordPress website and the Elementor plugin. To make this tutorial as EASY as possible, I’ve created a free Instagram link page template for Elementor. You can download the template by clicking the button below:
Once you’ve created the new page, you’ll click the “Edit with Elementor” button. This will take you into the Elementor editing screen. Your page should be blank, aside from your header and footer. If you’d like to leave these on the page, then your set up should be fairly simple.
On the editing screen, you will see a Folder icon. Select that option and wait for the pop up to appear. When it does, select the Import icon on the upper right corner of the window. Navigate to your saved template file, and import it into your page.
Now that you’ve imported the template, you are free to change around the elements to match your brand. Make sure you switch the links and text in the buttons to match the links on your own site.
Once everything is designed and ready to go, go ahead and click the save button. You’ll want to exit out of the Elementor design page. Now you have your Instagram link page! Make sure you add the new link to your Instagram bio.
